Today’s Healthy Dose – Quinoa

Whether you pronounce it “queen-a”, or “quin-oh-a” or the foodie approved “keen-wa”… you need to try it. It’s a great side dish in place of bread, rice or potatoes with a ton more protein, fiber and essential nutrients. Just follow the directions on the package.

(Quinoa has a natural protective coating that could taste bitter, so don’t forget to rinse!)
