That’s the amount of antibiotics produced in the U.S. that are given to humans. The other 80 percent is fed daily to the meat we eat, simply to speed up the fattening process. It’s like a huge, super-virus welcome mat!

When you’re looking at meat labels, opt for hormone and antibiotic free.

Turns out gums are a two way street. Unhealthy gums can be an indication of other health issues, and bacteria build up in the gums can cause other health issues. Either way, it can’t hurt to make better friends with the minty string.

Don’t just make a salad, create a symphony of flavors you love. Experiment with tasty greens, add some fruit, sprinkle on chopped nuts, scoop in some avocado, don’t forget the veggies, add some seasonings, crumble in some aged cheese, some natural bacon or some wild caught tuna, then take it up a notch with a fantastic dressing. Toss together the things that tantalize your tastebuds and the health will follow…
